Want to control whether customers can cancel their own reservations online? **Fleetwire** gives you the flexibility to allow or restrict guest cancellations directly from their confirmation page.
This setting helps you balance customer convenience with operational control.

## 🎯 Why Manage Guest Cancellations?

Choosing whether to allow online cancellations helps you:
* **Reduce Admin Work** – Let guests cancel without contacting your team.
* **Maintain Control** – Prevent last-minute cancellations if your policy requires manual approval.
* **Enforce Policies** – Align cancellation access with your rental terms.


## 🛠 How to Enable or Disable Guest Cancellations
You can control this setting from your Online Reservations settings.
### Step 1: Go to Online Reservation Settings
1. In your Fleetwire dashboard, navigate to** Settings > Online Reservations**
2. Scroll to the **Guest Cancellation** section.

### Step 2: Choose Your Preferred Option
You’ll see two options:
* **Don’t allow guest cancellation online** Guests must contact you directly to cancel a reservation.
* **Allow guest cancellation online** Guests can cancel their booking from their confirmation status page. Select the option that matches your cancellation policy.

### Step 3: Save Your Changes
Click **Update** to apply your changes.
Your new setting will take effect immediately for future reservations.
