You can check in a car at the curb, send a payment link while you're on a call with a renter, and get an alert the moment a booking comes in. The app is **free and included on every Fleetwire plan**. It works with your existing account, so everything you do in it shows up in your dashboard right away, and the other way around. --- ## Get the app **Android:** [Get Fleetwire on Google Play](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=io.fleetwire.app). Search for **Fleetwire – Car Rental Manager**. **iPhone:** the iPhone app is with Apple for review and will be on the App Store soon. Until then, you can use the iPhone version through Apple's TestFlight. Email [hi@fleetwire.io](mailto:hi@fleetwire.io) with the email address of your Apple ID, and we'll send you an invite. In your dashboard, the **Mobile** page also has a **Notify me** button so we can tell you when it's live. The iPhone app needs iOS 15.6 or later. ## Sign in Sign in with the same email and password you use for the Fleetwire dashboard. You don't need a new account. - **Two-factor authentication:** if it's on for your account, the app asks for your code. Tap **Resend code** if it doesn't arrive. - **Face ID or fingerprint lock:** turn it on under **Settings > Account & Security** so nobody can open the app on your phone without you. - **Team members** sign in with their own logins. Screens their role can't use show **Not available for your role**. A company admin can change their permissions from the dashboard. See [Create Team Accounts in Fleetwire](https://help.fleetwire.io/en/article/create-team-accounts-in-fleetwire-3vjoe5/). --- ## What you can do in the app ### Today's work - See today's and tomorrow's **pickups and returns**, plus what's available. - Open the **fleet calendar**. - Catch trips that should have started or ended but haven't been checked in or out. ### Bookings - Create a booking in a few taps, or edit, extend, or swap the vehicle on an existing one. - Add extras, line items, discounts, coupons, and notes. - See the booking's invoices and the emails sent to the renter. ### Check-out and check-in - Follow a guided inspection: photos of the car, fuel level, and damage marked on a diagram. - Record the odometer by snapping a photo of the dashboard, or pull it live from a connected Tesla or Bouncie. ### Payments - Charge the card on file. - Send a **payment link** by text, or show a **QR code** the renter scans to pay. - Record a cash or other payment. - Capture or release card holds, and issue refunds. ### Rental agreements - Send an agreement to sign by email or text. - Let the renter sign in person by scanning a QR code on your phone. - Open signed agreements as PDFs. ### Customers - Create a customer by scanning their driver's license. - See their bookings, payments, insurance, and notes. - **Call**, **Text**, or email them right from their profile. ### Vehicles - Add a vehicle by scanning its VIN. - Update photos and pricing, block dates, and log maintenance and damage. ### iPhone home-screen widget On iPhone, add the Fleetwire widget to your home screen to see today's pickups, vehicles out, and today's revenue at a glance. --- ## What you set up on a computer Some one-time setup lives in the dashboard at [tenant.fleetwire.io](https://tenant.fleetwire.io). Once it's done, the app uses it. - **Rental agreement templates.** Create your template in the dashboard under **Documents** first. Until a template exists, **Create contract** in the app has nothing to choose from. See [Build Your Rental Agreement in Fleetwire](https://help.fleetwire.io/en/article/build-your-rental-agreement-in-fleetwire-1w9xyzm/). - **Most account settings**, such as checkout, payment providers, pricing structures, taxes, and your online store. - **Changing your plan.** || **Holding a deposit with a payment link?** In the dashboard, a payment request can charge the rental and hold the deposit in one link: turn on **Hold security deposit** (Stripe only). If you don't see that switch in the app, send the request from the dashboard instead. See [How to Authorize and Capture Credit Card Holds](https://help.fleetwire.io/en/article/how-to-authorize-and-capture-credit-card-holds-nioofs/). --- ## Push notifications The app can alert you when something needs your attention, including: - a new booking or booking request - a payment received or failed - a deposit or card hold about to expire - a signed agreement - a renter opening their invoice - a trip starting soon, a return coming up, or a return that's overdue - alerts from connected vehicles, such as Bouncie **To turn notifications on or off,** open the app and go to **Settings > Notifications**. It takes you to your phone's notification settings for Fleetwire. Email and text alerts are set separately in the dashboard.
