🛠 How to Set Up Payment Settings with Stripe
Follow these steps to connect your Fleetwire account with Stripe and start accepting credit card payments at checkout.
Step 1: Connect Fleetwire with Stripe
Link your Stripe account to Fleetwire to enable payment processing.
In your Fleetwire dashboard, go to Settings > Payments at Checkout.
Under the Payment section, click Connect with Stripe—this will open a new window directing you to Stripe.
If you already have a Stripe account, click Already have an account and log in. Otherwise, fill out the required information to create a new Stripe account.
Follow Stripe’s setup steps to complete the connection.
Once done, close the Stripe window and return to your Fleetwire dashboard.

Pro Tip: Ensure your Stripe account is fully verified (e.g., bank details added) to avoid delays in accepting payments.
Step 2: Test Your Payment Setup
Verify that Stripe is connected and payments work as expected in your online store.
Visit your online store (e.g., testcompany.fleetwire.io) and start a test reservation.

Check the order in Orders to confirm the payment was processed successfully.
