E-commerce Tracking
Start tracking events in your online store to measure performance and collect audience data.
Fill in your Google Analytics ID or Facebook pixel ID, and FleetWire automatically starts tracking e-commerce events from your checkout and hosted store.
Add Analytics and Facebook to your website to also track e-commerce events for embedded products.
Facebook pixel
Facebook pixel tracks activity in your online store, helping you understand and target (potential) customers for ads.
To start using Facebook pixel:
If you haven't already, follow Facebook's steps to create a Facebook pixel.
If you embed FleetWire's store on your website, also add the pixel to your website.
In FleetWire, go to Settings > Online reservations.
Paste your pixel ID in the field labeled Facebook pixel ID.
Click Save.
After you add a Facebook pixel to FleetWire, the pixel automatically starts tracking events in your online store.
Tracks the following standard events:
InitiateCheckout
Purchase
PageView
ViewContent
Google Analytics
With Google Analytics, you can track visitors, sessions, and other behavior on your site.
To start using Google Analytics:
If you haven't already, follow Google's steps to set up Analytics and Create a Universal Analytics property only.
Turn on e-commerce tracking.
In FleetWire, go to Settings > Online reservations.
Paste your Universal Analytics property in the field labeled Google Analytics ID.
Click Save.
Note: Make sure you don't have tracking enabled already in your custom scripts; adding Google Analytics more than once results in inaccurate data.
Performs the following e-commerce events:
view_item
begin_checkout
purchase
