Manage Notification Preferences in Fleetwire

đź”” Manage Notification Preferences in Fleetwire!

Stay in the loop without drowning in email — Fleetwire lets you choose exactly which notifications you and your team receive. New bookings, cancellations, payments, or low inventory: turn on what matters and quiet the rest. Here’s how to take control of your notification preferences!

🎯 Why Manage Notifications?

Getting notifications right helps you:

  • Respond Faster: Get alerted for new bookings or messages so you can reply quickly.
  • Reduce Noise: Turn off alerts you don’t need so important emails don’t get lost.
  • Keep the Team Aligned: Each team member can set their own preferences for their role.

Note: Notification settings apply per user. Account owners and admins can still configure which types of emails Fleetwire sends; individual users control what they receive.

đź›  Step-by-Step: Notification Settings

Follow these steps to adjust your notification preferences.

Step 1: Open Notification Settings

  1. In your Fleetwire dashboard, click Settings in the left sidebar.
  2. Under Account, select Notifications.
  3. You’ll see a list of notification types (e.g., new order, order cancelled, payment received).

Step 2: Choose What You Want to Receive

  1. For each notification type, toggle On or Off based on whether you want that email.
  2. Common options include:
  • New order – When a customer completes a reservation.
  • Order cancelled – When a booking is cancelled.
  • Payment received – When a payment is logged or processed.
  • New message – When you receive a message (e.g., from a platform or customer).
  1. Click Save to apply your preferences.

Pro Tip: Keep “New order” and “Order cancelled” on so you never miss a booking or cancellation; turn off less critical alerts if your inbox gets busy.

Step 3: Rely on Email Templates (Optional)

  1. Notifications use the email templates in Settings > Email Templates.
  2. Ensure your From address and branding are set so notifications look professional.
  3. For custom wording, edit the corresponding template (e.g., booking confirmation) in Custom Email Templates in Fleetwire.
