Company Info, Logo & Branding

🎨 Company Info, Logo & Branding

Settings › Business (Company info, Branding and Social) is where your rental business gets its name, face, and colors. What you set here shows up on your booking page, invoices, rental agreements, the e-sign page, customer emails, browser tabs, and every link you share by text or on social media.

This guide walks through each section, shows where each setting appears, and gives image sizes that look sharp everywhere.

Your favicon in the browser tab and your logo in the booking page header.

🏢 Company Information

  • Company Name: Shown on invoices, quotes, and agreements, and in customer emails ("You're receiving this email from…"). It's also the name in your browser tab and link previews, and it stands in for your logo if you haven't uploaded one.
  • Company Email: Printed on invoices and quotes so renters know where to reach you.
  • Phone: Printed on invoices and quotes (you can hide it in invoice settings). Fleetwire also texts this number your booking alerts, reminders, and security codes.
  • Main Address: Printed in the company block on invoices, quotes, and statements.

Click Save at the bottom of the card when you're done.

Note: If you see an orange warning under your phone number, that number replied STOP to our texts. Text START to the number shown to turn booking alerts and security codes back on.

Upload your logo by dropping it on the upload box or clicking it. Fleetwire accepts PNG, JPG, or WebP up to 10 MB (SVG isn't supported).

A white logo is previewed on a dark background automatically, with a note about white backgrounds.

Light gray

  • Shape: Horizontal, about 3:1 to 4:1 (for example 800 × 240 px). Very wide logos get tiny in the narrow e-sign and payment slots.
  • Size: At least 400 px wide. Fleetwire scales anything larger down to 800 px, so there's no benefit to going bigger.
  • Format: PNG or WebP with a transparent background. A JPG can't be transparent, so it always keeps its white (or colored) box.
  • Trim the padding: Crop empty space around the logo before uploading. At 28–32 px tall, extra padding makes the logo look small.

Light (white) logos

Most places your logo appears are white: invoices, agreements, emails, and the e-sign badge. A white logo looks great on a dark booking page but disappears on everything else.

The same white logo on a dark store, on a white invoice, and on a colored badge.

When you upload a light logo, Fleetwire previews it on a dark background and shows a note. Use the Light / Dark buttons under the preview to see your logo on either background.

Pro Tip: For one logo that works everywhere, use a dark or full-color version, or put your white logo on a colored badge (like the teal one above) before uploading.

To replace your logo, click Remove, then upload the new file.

🎨 Branding: Brand Color

Pick your main brand color with the swatch, or type a hex code like #14B8A6, then click Save.

  • Customer emails use it as the accent color for buttons and highlights.
  • Your booking page uses it for buttons and links until you choose a look under Settings › Booking page › Look & style. Once you pick a style there, the style's colors win.

🌐 Social: Favicon, X Handle, and Share Card

These three settings control how your booking page looks in browser tabs and when someone shares your link. They apply to your Fleetwire store address (like yourcompany.fleetwire.io) and to your custom domain.

The Social card: an uploaded favicon shown in a browser tab, and a share card shown as a link preview.

Favicon

The small icon in the browser tab and bookmarks. Leave it blank and your store shows the Fleetwire icon.

Click Upload icon (or drop a file on the preview), or paste a link to an icon you already have online and click Import. Fleetwire saves its own copy as a square PNG, and the preview shows your icon at real tab size.

  • Recommended: A square PNG, 512 × 512 px (at least 48 × 48), ideally with a transparent background.
  • Browsers shrink it to 16–32 px, so use your logo's symbol only, not the full wordmark. Text becomes unreadable at that size.
  • Not square? It still works: Fleetwire centers it on a transparent square instead of stretching it, and suggests a symbol-only version if it's wide.

X Handle

Your X (Twitter) username with the @, like @yourcompany. X credits your account when someone posts a link to your store. Leave it blank if you don't use X.

Share Card

The large image that appears when your store link is shared in iMessage, WhatsApp, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Slack, and most other apps. Leave it blank and your links show Fleetwire's share image instead of yours, so this is worth setting.

Click Upload image (or drop a file on the preview), or paste a link to an image you already have online and click Import. Fleetwire saves its own copy either way, so the preview keeps working even if the original file moves.

The same share card in an iMessage link preview and an X post.

  • Recommended: a 1200 × 630 px landscape photo, JPG, PNG, or WebP.
  • Any other shape still works. Fleetwire turns every upload into a 1200 × 630 card. Wide images are trimmed to fit. A logo, or any square or tall image, is kept whole and centered: logos with a transparent background sit on your brand color (or dark or white, whichever they show up on), and photos sit over a soft blurred copy of themselves.
  • Just have a logo? Upload it. You'll get a clean branded card, but a wide photo of your vehicles with your logo on it gets more clicks.
  • Keep the important parts in the middle. Some apps crop the edges or show a square thumbnail.
  • Use a few large words: your logo, a vehicle photo, and a short line like "Rent a Tesla in Los Angeles." Small text is unreadable in a chat bubble.

The title and description under the image come from Settings › Booking page › SEO (page title and meta description). If you haven't set those, the title is your company name. See SEO for your booking page.

Warning: Apps save a copy of a link preview the first time they see it. If you change your share card, older shares (and links you've already texted yourself) keep the old image. To refresh a preview on Facebook, use the Sharing Debugger and click Scrape Again. On LinkedIn, use Post Inspector.

✅ Quick Checklist

  • Company name, email, phone, and address filled in and saved.
  • Logo uploaded as a transparent PNG, about 800 × 240, trimmed, and readable on white.

  • Favicon uploaded (a square symbol, 512 × 512).
  • Share card uploaded (ideally a 1200 × 630 landscape photo).
  • Text yourself your store link to check the preview.
