Step 1: Change Your Password
Update your password to something strong and unique to prevent unauthorized access.
In your Fleetwire dashboard, go to Settings > Security > Password.
Enter your Current Password to verify your identity.
Enter your New Passwordâit must be at least 8 characters long and should include a mix of letters, numbers, and symbols.

Pro Tip: Use a password manager like 1Password or LastPass to generate and store a complex password (e.g., X9m!pL$2vQ) securelyâdonât reuse passwords across accounts!
Step 2: Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
Add an extra layer of security by enabling 2FA, which sends a unique code to your phone via SMS each time you log in.
Go to Settings > Security > 2FA in your Fleetwire dashboard.
Follow the on-screen instructions to set up 2FA:
- Enter your Phone Number to receive SMS codes (ensure itâs a number you have access to).
- Click Send Code to receive a 4-digit code via text message.
- Enter the code you receive to confirm the setup.
Click Confirm to enable 2FAânow youâll need your password and an SMS code to sign in.
Step 3: Test Your Security Settings
Verify that your new password and 2FA setup work as expected.
Log out of your Fleetwire account from tenant.fleetwire.io.
Log back in using your new password.
If 2FA is enabled, enter the 4-digit SMS code sent to your phone to complete the login.
If you encounter issues (e.g., no SMS received), double-check your phone number or use a recovery code (Step 3) to regain access.
