Step 2: Add elements to your website

Paste the simple HTML snippets to embed date pickers, product cards, buttons, or lists anywhere on your website.

The data-id tag is where the listing id is placed. Each listing page will already have this filled in but you can change this to an existing listing ID in your fleet.

Getaround uses your Facebook or Google account to log in & we would rather not deal with those credentials for your protection. We've made it simple to share your Getaround token with us without your credentials.

3 easy steps:

Drag and drop the bookmarklet above to your bookmark bar.
Click the bookmark to be redirected to Getaround.
Click the bookmark again once logged into Getaround.

Why do we do it this way?

The Bookmarklet allows us to send a token to our servers that we use to then communicate with Getaround. We think this is a better solution than collecting your credentials to Facebook or Google.

Stripe Identity Setup

We integrate with a Stripe product called Stripe Identity to verify the identity of your customers programmatically.

Because of the nature of the data Stripe requires a special API key for you set up so Fleetwire can initiate the Stripe Identity sessions and report back to you. It is very easy; see steps below.

Recommend setup:

Starting off, please make sure you are set up with Stripe Identity. You should be able to manually create a Stripe Identity session on Stripe's dashboard. This is important because some steps below will be missing options if you are not set up.

Identity + Files

Go to Stripes API keys dashboard and click "Create restricted key"
Name the restricted key what you would like (ex. Fleetwire ID key). "All core resources" section near the top: "Files"set to ${color}#4542ff

"Identity" section near the bottom: "Verification Sessions and Reports" be set to ${color}#4542ff

Click "Create key" and copy it. The key should start with "rklive" and paste it in the key field in Fleetwire Stripe integration settings. Click "Save". Fleetwire will encrypt and save the restricted key.
Return to Stripe API key dashboard and click the three little dots menu for the new key and click "Manage IP restrictions" and add this IP: 138.68.28.176 You can leave CIDR toggle set to off. Click

Amount Due at Checkout

This setting tells Fleetwire how much to collect at the checkout. Most people leave it at the default to "Require full payment at checkout." You can also choose to only require a percentage or nothing at all.

Booking Capture Mode

This setting allows you to use Stripe to collect the payment at checkout via authorization or charge.

The "Automatic" mode will tell Fleetwire you want to do a Stripe charge and capture the payment instantly. Points to know

Captures the charge right away, so there is no chance of forgetting to capture and have the funds released back to the renters' bank.
It will be deposited quicker to your bank since it is captured immediately.
If the renter does not qualify for your rental, you will need to refund them, and you will still be charged the Stripe processing fee.

The "Manual" mode will tell Fleetwire you want to do a Stripe authorization and manually capture the payment later (within 7 days).

Points to know

You will not be charged Stripes 2.9% processing fee.
It authorizes the payment to ensure they have the funds, but you will not be charged the 2.9% Stripe processing fee until you capture it.
