🚘 Configure Vehicle Details for Listings in Fleetwire!

Each listing in Fleetwire is tied to a specific vehicle, and the Vehicle tab lets you set its details and photos to attract renters. From basic info to a photo slideshow, these settings help your vehicles stand out on your catalog page. Let’s dive into configuring your vehicle details!

🎯 Why Configure Vehicle Details?

Setting up vehicle details in Fleetwire helps you:

Attract Renters: Detailed info and high-quality photos make your vehicles more appealing.
Enable Filtering: Allow renters to filter by year, make, and model on your catalog page.
Automate Processes: Use VIN for recall notifications or auto-fill rental agreements.
Showcase Your Fleet: Display a photo slideshow on your checkout page or website.

Note: Access the Vehicle tab by going to Listings, selecting a listing, and clicking VEHICLE.

🛠 How to Configure Vehicle Details

Follow these steps to set up vehicle information and photos for your listings in Fleetwire.

Step 1: Set Vehicle Info

Add detailed attributes to describe your vehicle and enable useful features.

In the Vehicle Info section of the Vehicle tab, enter the following details:
Name, Description: A catchy name and description for the vehicle.
Year, Make, Model: Used for filtering on the catalog page.
Seats, Doors, Features: Highlight key specs for renters.
VIN, Plate, Unit #: Internal details (not shown on the catalog page).
Vehicle Class: Categorize the vehicle (e.g., SUV, Sedan).
Click Save to apply the details.

Benefits:
Renters can filter by year, make, and model on your catalog page (e.g., testcompany.fleetwire.io).
VIN enables automatic vehicle recall notifications (or use year, make, model if VIN is unavailable).
VIN, plate, and unit # can auto-fill on e-sign rental agreements if enabled.

Tip: If you use Turo, you can import all these attributes automatically, along with pricing and photos.

Step 2: Add Vehicle Photos

Upload photos to showcase your vehicle, with a slideshow for multiple images.

In the Photos section, click to upload images (up to 20 photos allowed).
The first photo is the main image; additional photos create a slideshow.
For best results, use high-quality images.
Click Save to apply the photos.

Ensure your vehicle details and photos display correctly for renters.

Visit your online store (e.g., testcompany.fleetwire.io) or catalog page to view the listing.
Check that the year, make, model, and photos (including the slideshow) appear as expected.
Test filtering by year, make, or model to confirm it works.
Adjust details or photos as needed to optimize the listing.

Warning: If photos don’t display or filtering fails, ensure your images are high-quality and all required fields (e.g., year, make, model) are filled.
